1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using Bright Battery's services, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
2. Description of Services
Bright Battery provides public speaking workshops, conferences, coaching services, and online courses designed to improve communication and presentation skills. Services are subject to availability and may be modified or discontinued at any time.
3. Registration and Accounts
To register for our programs, you must provide accurate and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account.
4. Payment Terms
All fees are in Canadian dollars (CAD) and must be paid in full at the time of registration unless otherwise specified. We accept major credit cards and other payment methods as indicated during checkout. Prices are subject to change without notice.
5. Cancellation and Refund Policy
Workshop cancellations made 14 or more days before the event date are eligible for a full refund. Cancellations made 7-13 days before receive a 50% refund. No refunds are provided for cancellations made less than 7 days before the event. Conference pass cancellations made 30+ days before the event receive a full refund.
6. Intellectual Property
All content, materials, trademarks, and intellectual property provided through our services remain the property of Bright Battery. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.
7. User Conduct
You agree to use our services responsibly and not to engage in any behavior that disrupts our programs, harasses other participants, or violates applicable laws. We reserve the right to remove any participant who violates these standards.
8. Disclaimers
Our services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. While we strive for excellence, we do not guarantee specific results from participation in our programs. Individual results may vary based on effort and application of learned techniques.
9. Limitation of Liability
Bright Battery shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific service in question.
10. Governing Law
These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Ontario.
11. Modifications
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
